the first 21+ show I ever went to was Arab Strap at the Empty Bottle in April of 2001. The Good Life opened, so Tim Kasher bought me drinks. I stood up front for the first 2-3 songs of Arab Strap's set, then they played my favorite track (New Birds) and I went in the back to drink and chat.
They are coming to Moscow this summer, should be fun.
