the vacation continues

I was sending out e-mail updates on my trip back to Japan over the summer, complete with pictures. Once I figure out how to ftp this to my domain, I'll be doing the same with this blog, since my life doesn't seem to be leaving vacation mode anytime soon.
I'll be working on a more expressive public face, too.
